We Never Go Out Of Style

We Never Go Out Of Style

You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that red lip, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
‘Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
You’ve got that long hair slick back, white t-shirt
And I got that good girl fate and a tight little skirt
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
‘Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style

#SecondLifeChallenge – 7 SecondLife Facts About Me

Strawberry Singh recently started doing her #SecondLifeChallenge posts again. They used to be #MemeMonday. This time around she’s challenging bloggers/vloggers to do a post with 7 facts about your SecondLife self that your viewers/readers may or may not know about you.

7 Facts About Dani Graphelle

1. My go to color is “Black”. Though lately, I have been dabbling more in colors.
2. I’ve got a small obsession with Catwoman. Ok, maybe a big obsession. I’m constantly putting together catwoman inspired costumes.
3. I’m a bit A.D.D. when it comes to my look. I’m constantly changing clothes in SL. I’m never in the same outfit for too long. Mind you, doesn’t mean I won’t wear the same outfit again.
4. I was very against mesh heads when they first came out. I felt like the first mesh heads that came out were very doll like. They took away the personality that you created with shaping the standard default head in SecondLife. Now I own several mesh heads & with bento you really can shape them to make them truly “you”.
5. There is no post-work done in my Second Life photos, excluding the occasional crop here and there. My photos are created inworld, including magical effects, windlights, etc.
6. I’ve never been partnered in Second Life. Next.
7. I hate gachas with a passion! But I do them anyways…sometimes. It’s a problem and I’m working on it.

New Year Resolutions

New Year Resolutions

Year after year, people make New Year’s Resolutions. Some of the most common resolutions are “Lose Weight”, “Stay Fit & Healthy”, “Spend Less, Save More”, “Get Organized” or “Quit A Bad Habit”. Exercise really isn’t necessary in SecondLife but there’s plenty of great athletic gear to put your avatar into top shape.

As the New Year approaches, I’ve been thinking about what my SecondLife persona would pick as a New Year’s Resolution. It definitely won’t be “Spend Less, Save More” I wouldn’t have much to blog if I took up that resolution. I think that it’ll be to better organize my inventory. We’ll see how well that goes.

What’s your New Year’s Resolution going to be?

Perfect Illusion

Now That I'm Wakin' Up...

Perfect Illusion is the latest single from Lady GaGa. Recently I’ve been re-creating looks that I find resemble this era of GaGa. In the photo above, I finally found a cropped t-shirt from Bueno (Uber Sept. 25th to Oct 23rd). Also a great pair of denim shorts (Jimena Shorts) from Blueberry!

To this awesome hair from Little Bones (N21 Event). I just keep finding more & more pieces that help me emulate her looks. Granted this era of her music is taking a more alternative rock look, as opposed to her usual avant garde style of dressing. I’m excited to see what she comes up with next, as well as listen to the album when its released.

Mistaken For Love, It Wasn't Love. It Was A Perfect Illusion

When the single was released, this image was my interpretation of the song. It all was a #PerfectIllusion

Hey Puddin’

The next few years in movies is going to be packed full of comic based movies. From Marvel’sCaptain America: Civil War” to DC Comic’sSuicide Squad” (both movies out later this year) As a big fan of comics, I’m excited to see how each movie is going to be brought to the big screen.

I decided to do my own rendition of Harley Quinn, a character from DC Comics. There are quite a few marketplace choices to replicate Harley’s look that she’ll be taking in the “Suicide Squad” movie, but I decided to piece together a look from items I have in my inventory along with the Harley Quinn hair I picked up from the recent Epiphany Event.
